Babel extension
OmegaWiki is proud to use the Babel extension.
There are several levels recognised in the Babel implementation:
- Mother tongue
- level 5 - professional
- level 4 - near native
- level 3 - advanced
- level 2 - intermediate
- level 1 - basic
The text of the messages of the Babel extension for each language is maintained at translationwiki.net
Usage
The best place for your Babel information is at the top of your user page, in it you describe for yourself the proficiency of the languages you feel comfortable with. Some wikis allow you to indicate a level 0, OmegaWiki is about all languages and consequently it is not relevant to know what language you have no knowledge off.
