Mandarin is mainly used in two scripts; simplified and traditional. There are TWO texts in the templates, to what extend does it make sense to have templates for cmn-Hans and for cmn-Hant ?? GerardM 16:52, 6 June 2006 (CEST)
- Not much for me, it's the same language and pronounced the same, it's just that the orthography is different for some sinograms (some only). So, in my opinion, we would just need a tag saying which orthography is being used when necesary. Kipcool 09:52, 7 June 2006 (CEST)
- Templates would be for the Babel information. For the words we will split in them into two. At least that is the majority opinion at the moment. We can have a large amount of words with both simplified and traditional Mandarin and English. GerardM 14:05, 7 June 2006 (CEST)
